Round Lake Beach

Round Lake Beach is a public swimming area with sandy shores on the northwestern side of Round Lake in Eden Prairie. The location includes a designated swimming zone with gradually sloping banks and facilities for visitors of different ages.

The swimming area was developed in the 1970s as part of Eden Prairie's park expansion. Since then it has served the community as a long-established waterfront recreation spot.

Local families regularly gather at Round Lake Beach during summer months to participate in community swimming programs and seasonal water activities.

The beach is reached by Valley View Road and has dedicated parking spaces for guests. The best time to visit is on warm days when water temperatures are comfortable for swimming.

Beside the lake sits a splash pad that offers an alternative to lake swimming when water conditions are not ideal. Many families with younger children use this separate water play feature.
