Room 309

Room 309 was a cocktail lounge housed on the third floor of The Pottinger hotel along Queen's Road Central. The narrow space required a special key card from The Envoy for entry, creating an intimate setting away from the busy street.

The venue was founded and operated by Antonio Lai, who received the Legend Award at the Time Out Awards in 2019. This recognition marked his significant impact on the city's cocktail scene before the establishment closed.

The venue introduced innovative drink concepts, including the Room of Tales menu drawing inspiration from classic fairytales such as Peter Pan and Cinderella.

The bar was located in Central and accessible through Central MTR Station Exit D2. Operating hours began at 5 PM and extended into the late evening.

The drink menu was presented on transparent plastic sheets that appeared invisible when first opened, reflecting the bar's clear cocktail concept. This visual touch was a playful extension of the venue's drink philosophy.
