Hansik Goo, Korean restaurant in Central Hong Kong.

Hansik Goo is a Korean restaurant located on the ground floor of The Wellington building, featuring contemporary interiors with natural wood and simple furnishings. The dining space flows openly, allowing diners to focus on the food and the kitchen's work.

Chef Mingoo Kang opened the restaurant in 2020, bringing experience from top-tier Korean establishments. The founding represented the beginning of a contemporary, inventive approach to Korean cooking in Hong Kong.

The kitchen blends traditional Korean cooking with international flavors, creating dishes that honor the original while exploring new directions. Diners experience Korean culinary traditions as a starting point for creative and unexpected flavor combinations.

The restaurant welcomes guests Tuesday through Sunday, with lunch service from midday to mid-afternoon and dinner beginning at 6 PM. Reservations are recommended, particularly for weekend and evening visits when seating fills quickly.

The establishment features an exceptional selection of traditional Korean alcohols paired thoughtfully with international wines by the head sommelier. This curated beverage program offers pairings that go beyond what most restaurants provide.
