Berberov buk

Berberov buk is a waterfall in Bilišane that drops over rocky cliffs into a natural pool. The falls cascade through a forested setting where visitors can swim in the cool water beneath the trees.

The waterfall formed through erosion as underground streams gradually carved through the rock over time. Local people have known and used this spot for many generations as a natural gathering place.

The best way to reach it is on foot via a forest trail starting from Bilišane that takes around 15 minutes. The water stays cold even in summer, and the paths can be slippery, so sturdy shoes are a good idea.

The water beneath the falls stays remarkably cold year-round because it flows from deep underground springs. Many visitors underestimate this extreme cold and get a surprising shock when they first touch it.
