The camp reflects the New Deal era programs that provided employment opportunities for young men while developing public recreational facilities across South Carolina.
Visitors can access the historic site through Table Rock State Park Road Extension, connecting to South Carolina Highway 11 near the park entrance.
The stone bulletin board structure stands eight feet tall and features a decorative star design, marking one of the few remaining elements from the original camp.
