During the period from 1922 to 1928, construction teams erected four-story apartment blocks featuring Colonial Revival, Renaissance Revival, and Gothic Revival architectural styles.
Multiple architects incorporated design elements characteristic of Chicago architecture, representing the urban residential development of early twentieth-century Indiana.
The district maintains its original architectural elements while offering modern residential spaces within walking distance of local amenities and public transportation.
Each building presents distinct architectural details, creating a collection of 1920s residential structures that earned National Register recognition in 1984.
