Hulu Selangor

Hulu Selangor is an administrative district in Selangor divided into 13 sub-districts, with Kuala Kubu Bharu, Serendah, and Batang Kali serving as main centers. The area spans hilly and flat terrain with rivers, forests, and residential zones.

The district originated during the Federated Malay States period and has been governed by a municipal council since 1977. This administrative structure continues to shape how communities here are developed and planned.
