Pandaruan Bridge

Pandaruan Bridge is a road bridge that connects Temburong in Brunei with Limbang in Malaysia by spanning a river between them. It provides a direct vehicular crossing where people once needed to use a ferry to move between these two territories.

The bridge opened in 2013, replacing the ferry service that was previously the only way to cross between the two areas. This construction resulted from a joint agreement between Malaysia and Brunei to improve land connectivity.

The governments of Malaysia and Brunei share maintenance responsibilities through their respective Public Works Departments, demonstrating international cooperation.

When crossing, visitors should have their travel documents ready since border control stations operate at both ends. It is helpful to check entry requirements beforehand, as these can change depending on your nationality.

The bridge forms part of Federal Route 1 Pan Borneo Highway network, establishing a permanent connection between the Malaysian region of Limbang and Brunei.
