Silva Kaputikjan Museum, Literary museum in Yerevan, Armenia.

The Silva Kaputikyan House-Museum occupies apartment 26 on the fourth floor of a residential building at 1 Silva Kaputikyan Street. Its five showcases hold items from her birthplace at 20 Amiryan Street, personal accessories, gifts from Avetik Isahakyan and Sergei Parajanov, awards, and membership cards. A plaster bust by her son Ara Shiraz stands in the hallway.

The museum opened in 2009 as a tribute to the poet who lived in this building for more than three decades. This conversion of her home into a museum space created a place dedicated to preserving her literary legacy.

Silva Kaputikjan was one of Armenia's most important poets, and her living spaces display the personal items that shaped her creative life. The rooms give you a sense of how she lived and worked, surrounded by the books and notes that formed her literary world.

The museum occupies apartment 26 on the fourth floor of building 1 on Silva Kaputikyan Street, reached through the second entrance; the street begins at the Baghramyan-Demirchyan intersection. The rooms are the poet's own living room, bedroom and study, kept as she left them, so visitors move through a private apartment rather than a gallery. The museum is a branch of the Charents Museum of Literature and Art.

The collection holds thousands of handwritten pages and personal gifts from notable Armenian artists and literary figures. These objects reveal the connections between the poet and her intellectual community in ways you can see and touch.
