The Marshal Baghramyan statue stands on Baghramyan Avenue in central Yerevan, in front of the American University of Armenia building. It was installed in 2003, is made of bronze and granite, and reaches a height of 9 metres. The sculptors were Norayr Karganyan and architect Eduard Arevshatyan.

The monument commemorates an officer who commanded the First Baltic Front during World War II and received two Gold Star medals for his service. His career reflects the important role Armenian military leaders played in Soviet campaigns.

The monument stands in front of the American University of Armenia, housed in the former building of a Soviet military academy, which ties the site to the marshal's military world. Its authors are sculptor Norayr Karganyan and architect Eduard Arevshatyan. A memorial stone was unveiled here on 8 May 1995, eight years before the statue itself was installed in 2003.
