Located 28 kilometers from Sarmiento city, the forest is accessible via 12 kilometers of paved road followed by 18 kilometers of gravel path.
The mineral-rich soil contains countless petrified plant specimens displaying natural colors ranging from brown and red to yellow throughout the landscape.
