Huilo-Huilo Falls

The Huilo-Huilo Falls cascade down 37 meters in height and 10 meters in width through volcanic rock formations along the Fuy River.

The waterfall emerged from intense volcanic activity of the Mocho Choshuenco complex, which shaped the current geological features of the Los Ríos Region.

The falls exist within a private reserve that incorporates local community development and educational programs focused on environmental conservation.

The self-guided trail to the waterfall takes approximately one hour to complete and remains accessible throughout all seasons of the year.

During summer months, the water flow diminishes as it travels through underground channels created by ancient volcanic formations.
