The Palacio Polanco spans 1,862 square meters across three floors and a basement, featuring six salons, sixteen bedrooms, and six luxury suites.
Built in 1898 by Spanish merchant Benigno Polanco Humeres, this residence transformed into police headquarters in 1912 under President Ramón Barros Luco's administration.
The palace houses a grand ballroom that exemplifies the architectural preferences of nineteenth-century Chilean elite families in the El Almendral district.
Located at the intersection of Avenida Brasil and Las Heras streets, the palace stands on reclaimed land from Valparaíso's nineteenth-century expansion.
This structure remains the sole surviving palace from the nineteenth century in El Almendral neighborhood, withstanding the destructive 1906 earthquake.
