Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, Santiago

Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles is a church building in Las Condes featuring Gothic architectural elements, with large windows that flood the interior with natural light throughout the day. The space contains a main altar area and regular seating arranged in traditional church fashion.

Construction of the building finished in 1940, made possible by the generosity of Loreto Cousiño de Lyon, who donated the crescent-shaped block of land between the streets. This gift established the church at its current location.

The walls inside hold ten religious paintings created by Father Pedro Subercaseaux and his team, showing saints and scenes from the Gospels. These artworks shape the spiritual character of the space and tell biblical stories through images.

The building holds regular Mass services that allow visitors to attend worship or simply explore the interior. It is wise to check exact times in advance, as these may vary depending on the day of the week.

The main altar holds a wooden crucifix donated in 1963 and a sculpture of the Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus. These pieces serve as focal points for prayer within the space.
