The church construction finished in 1940 through the generosity of Loreto Cousiño de Lyon, who donated the crescent-shaped block between the streets.
The interior walls display ten religious paintings created by Father Pedro Subercaseaux and his team, depicting saints and evangelical scenes.
The church offers daily Mass services with specific schedules: weekdays at 7:30, 9:00, and 11:00, Saturdays at 9:00, 11:00, and 17:00.
The main altar features a wooden crucifix donated in 1963 and a sculpture of the Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus.
