Teatro Municipal Juan Bustos Ramírez, Municipal theater in Quilpué, Chile
The Teatro Municipal Juan Bustos Ramírez features two halls designed in Art Deco style with reinforced masonry walls and modern technical equipment.
The building opened its doors in 1940 as Teatro Velarde and remained a central performance venue until the 1990s, when it closed temporarily.
The theater manages the Municipal Orchestra of Quilpué, which combines academic and traditional instruments to create new musical expressions.
Located at Anibal Pinto 634 in Quilpué, the theater maintains regular programming of performances, exhibitions, and educational workshops throughout the year.
Following extensive renovations in 2017, the theater reopened with President Michelle Bachelet attending the inauguration ceremony.
