Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa extends along the Pacific coast with sand mountains and notable formations like El Pirata and La Solitaria at kilometer 43 of Panamericana Norte.

The district separated from Ancon and gained official status on February 6, 1962, through Law 13982 signed by President Manuel Prado Ugarteche.

Local residents maintain connections through community gatherings and social activities, contributing to the development of this growing Lima residential area.

The district administration coordinates public services and infrastructure projects from its headquarters on Bertello Avenue for a population of 41,619 residents.

The district features natural coastal caves and formations that create a distinctive shoreline pattern, marking the first bay north of Callao.
