Pasaje Juramento, Pedestrian passage between Plaza 25 de Mayo and National Flag Monument in Rosario, Argentina.
Pasaje Juramento is a pedestrian passage in central Rosario that connects two major plazas and stretches for about 200 meters. The route runs between City Hall and the Cathedral, linking the Triumphal Propylaea behind the National Flag Monument to Buenos Aires Street.
The project originated in the late 1800s when architect Angel Guido included it in a design sketch related to the Monument and its surrounding park. These early plans set the foundation for the passage that would later be built.
The passage displays sculptures by artist Lola Mora that were created in Rome and later positioned along a water mirror. These artworks shape how the space looks and are easy to notice as you walk through.
The passage offers pedestrians a direct route between two major landmarks and reduces walking time through the city center. It is a straightforward crossing that requires no special conditions and is accessible on foot at any time.
The sculptures that define the passage were moved to several locations around Rosario before settling in their current spot. These relocations made them a talked-about part of the city's story and show how artworks can move around over time.
