Torre Aqualina, Residential skyscraper in central Rosario, Argentina.
Torre Aqualina is a residential skyscraper in central Rosario with 40 floors of glass and concrete rising 125 meters high. The building contains luxury apartments and offers views across the Paraná River toward downtown.
Designed by architect Mario Roberto Álvarez, construction began in 2005 and finished in 2009. The tower emerged during a period of urban renewal and modernization in central Rosario.
The tower shows how Rosario shifted toward higher-density living in the city center during the 2000s. It became a landmark that changed how local residents think about vertical residential spaces downtown.
The tower sits at the corner of San Luis and Alem Streets in the city center, making it easy to reach on foot. Underground levels provide parking, and the location puts you near shops and dining options.
Environmental review requirements were bypassed during construction, allowing the project to move forward quickly. This decision reflects how some major developments shaped the city during that period.
