Río Vaquerías

Río Vaquerías is a mountain stream flowing through the Quebrada Vaquerías with natural pools and waterfalls surrounded by granite cliffs and native plants. The river carves through diverse terrain, creating small cascades and clear water basins along its path.

The name comes from 'vaquerías', colonial cattle hunting grounds where cowboys captured wild herds. This activity shaped the region's identity during Spanish colonization.
