Triangle House

Triangle House is a residential tower with 26 floors and a distinctive plan that brings natural light into every space. Hotel rooms occupy the lower levels, while upper floors contain apartments for around 166 residents.

The skyscraper rose in the early 1990s and marked a turning point in the city's tall building history. No major new towers would be added to the skyline for more than two decades after.

The building takes its name from its original occupant and shows how Cape Town's city center evolved through a blend of homes and businesses. This mix continues to define the neighborhood today.

The building sits near Riebeeck Street in the city center and is easy to reach on foot. The public areas on the lower levels are accessible to visitors, even though residential floors are off-limits.

The facade uses three different types of granite that together create a layered visual appearance. This careful choice of materials gives the contemporary structure a sophisticated depth.
