Triangle House, Residential skyscraper in Cape Town, South Africa
Triangle House stands 104 meters tall with 26 floors, featuring a cruciform layout that maximizes natural light and views throughout the structure.
The building, completed in 1993 at a cost of 6 million dollars, remained the last skyscraper constructed in Cape Town until Portside Tower emerged in 2014.
Originally named Safmarine House after its first occupant, the structure reflects the evolution of Cape Town's urban development through its mixed residential and commercial use.
Located at 22 Riebeek Street, the building contains 166 residential units from floors 12 to 23, while the lower floors house a hotel operated by Accor.
The exterior walls incorporate three distinct types of granite: Rosa Duna, Rock Face, and Rustenberg, creating a sophisticated architectural appearance.
