Aberdare National Park

The national park encompasses 767 square kilometers of forest, moorland, and mountainous terrain between 2,400 and 4,000 meters above sea level.

The Kenya Wildlife Service established this protected area in 1950 to preserve the natural ecosystems and maintain regional biodiversity for future generations.
