Kerinci Seblat National Park

Kerinci Seblat National Park spans across four provinces in Sumatra, featuring mountain ranges, tropical rainforests, and highland areas with diverse ecosystems. The terrain includes steep slopes and river valleys that create varied habitats for wildlife.

The park was established in 1982 by consolidating existing forest protection areas and reserves. Its boundaries were formally confirmed in the late 1990s, creating a unified conservation area.
