Kelapa Dua

Kelapa Dua is an administrative district in Tangerang that covers six villages including Bojong Nangka, Pakulonan Barat, Bencongan, and Curugsangereng. The area forms a connected urban region with residential neighborhoods, shopping centers, and educational facilities.

The district was established in 2006 through an administrative reorganization that combined areas from the former districts of Curug, Legok, and Pagedangan. This restructuring created a new administrative unit to serve the growing population of Tangerang.

The district brings together people from many religious and ethnic backgrounds who share the neighborhoods. You can see this diversity in the different houses of worship and the local celebrations that happen throughout the year.

The district is easily accessible by public transportation and major roads that connect to main shopping centers like Supermal Karawaci and Summarecon Mall Serpong. Shops, restaurants, and entertainment options are distributed across the area at convenient locations.

Two major universities, Universitas Pelita Harapan and Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, are located in the district and shape its character. These institutions draw students from across the region and give several neighborhoods an academic feel.
