Gunlom Falls, Natural waterfall in Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory, Australia
The waterfall cascades down 85 meters from an elevation of 168 meters, forming multiple natural pools at different levels along its descent.
The site, previously called Waterfall Creek Falls and UDP Falls, underwent a name change to Gunlom Falls to reflect its Aboriginal connections.
The Jawoyn people maintain traditional ownership of the falls area and implement protective measures to preserve sacred locations within the site.
Access requires a 40-kilometer drive on gravel roads from Kakadu Highway, with seasonal restrictions during December through April wet periods.
The waterfall location appeared in the 1986 film Crocodile Dundee, introducing international audiences to this Northern Territory natural formation.
