Clarkes Beach

Clarkes Beach stretches between Main Beach and The Pass, featuring golden sand and multiple access points through designated coastal pathways and parking facilities.

The beach received its name from the Clarke family who established their residence in this coastal area during the late nineteenth century.

The beach serves as a meeting point for local surf instructors who teach newcomers the fundamentals of Australian surf culture throughout the year.

Visitors can park their vehicles in the 90-space car park for 4 dollars per hour with a maximum daily rate of 20 dollars.

During migration seasons, the beach offers observation points where people can spot dolphins swimming near the shore and whales passing through the waters.
