Brunswick Street Mall is a pedestrian zone running through the heart of Fortitude Valley, with shops, cafes, and restaurants lining the sides. The space features open areas where people can stop, sit, or move through at their own pace.

The street was converted into a pedestrian zone in 1991 to revitalize this part of the city. This change was part of a broader effort to bring new life to Fortitude Valley as a neighborhood.

The mall takes its name from Brunswick Street, the road it closed to traffic; the name refers to the street rather than to a market. Its 2014 redevelopment was brought forward from 2016 so the space would be ready for the G-20 Summit held in Brisbane.

The mall runs along Brunswick Street between Wickham Street and Ann Street, in the middle of Fortitude Valley. It is a flat, paved pedestrian space with no steps, so walking through or stopping to sit is straightforward. Brisbane City Council began redeveloping it in January 2014, a project expected to take six months.

The mall was rebuilt in 2014 by JMac Constructions, a subsidiary of BMD Group, at a cost of $4,000,000. The work was moved forward from its planned 2016 start so the street would be ready for the G-20 Summit held in Brisbane that November.
