DC Rivals HyperCoaster, Steel roller coaster at Warner Bros Movie World, Gold Coast, Australia
DC Rivals HyperCoaster is a steel roller coaster at Warner Bros Movie World on the Gold Coast in Australia. The installation consists of pink track and dark grey supports that stretch across roughly 1.4 kilometers and rise as high as 61.6 meters.
The roller coaster opened in September 2017 after months of construction. Mack Rides supplied the technology for what was then the park's most expensive ride.
The design draws on battles between Cyborg, Deathstroke, Aquaman and Black Manta, visible along the track. Visitors experience these comic characters as colored elements woven into the construction and theme of the ride.
Visitors can choose between four queues: general access, backward seats, Fast Track or single rider lines. The choice depends on available time and desired seating.
The last car of each train travels backward and offers passengers a different view of the track. This arrangement allows for a second perspective at speeds reaching up to 115 kilometers per hour.
