Honda Center, Indoor arena in Anaheim, United States.
Honda Center is a multipurpose arena in Anaheim, California, with seating for 17,174 during hockey games and up to 18,900 for concerts. The facility includes multiple tiers of seating, wide concourses and gathering areas, and numerous entry points to manage visitor flow.
The facility opened in June 1993 under the name Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim and served from the beginning as home to the Anaheim Ducks hockey team. The current name was adopted in 2006 following a sponsorship agreement with Honda.
The building takes its name from the Japanese automaker Honda, which has held naming rights since 2006. Inside the spacious hall, vendor stands sell team merchandise and local food favorites that draw crowds from across the metropolitan area during events.
Parking is available in surrounding lots and information about upcoming events can be found online on the venue website. Entry and security checks happen at multiple points, so wait times before major events can be reduced by choosing your arrival carefully.
The facility sits next to the Disneyland Resort and forms part of a larger entertainment district along with other leisure venues. During international hockey tournaments, the arena has hosted teams from around the world, bringing international competition to Southern California.
