Castle Park

Castle Park is an amusement park in Riverside offering miniature golf, arcade games, and rides spread across the grounds. The facilities include dining options and multiple play areas arranged throughout the property.

The park was founded in 1976 by Bud Hurlbut, who had worked on developing Knott's Berry Farm. It began as an arcade and miniature golf venue before expanding to include rides and other attractions.

The park's medieval castle theme shapes how visitors move through the space, with stone structures and towers creating distinct areas for different activities. This design choice gives the place its own identity and makes each visit feel like stepping into a storybook world.

The park is located in southern Riverside and is easy to reach by car with ample parking available. Comfortable shoes are recommended since you will walk between different areas throughout the property.

A restored carousel from 1905 operates within the park, allowing visitors to ride a piece of mechanical history. This vintage machine is one of the few working examples of its age and type still available to the public.
