The Viad Tower extends 374 feet into the Phoenix skyline with 24 floors and features a distinctive rectangular shape with glass and concrete exterior walls.
Construction of this corporate building was completed in 1991 by architectural firm HKS Inc, marking the last major skyscraper built in Midtown Phoenix.
The building entrance connects to a public park decorated with statues and fountains, creating a meeting point for local residents and office workers.
Located across from Phoenix Art Museum on Central Avenue north of McDowell Road, the tower contains 483,741 square feet of office space.
The original plans included a twin building rotated 90 degrees, but this project was canceled during the Savings and Loan Crisis of the late 1980s.
