Phoenix Corporate Center is a 26-story office tower that rises above downtown Phoenix. The building contains ample commercial workspace and is serviced by nine elevators throughout its height.
Construction started in 1963 and was completed on January 3, 1965, making it the city's tallest building at that time. Major renovations in the 1990s removed the original balconies and repositioned the glass exterior flush with the floor slabs.
The International Style architecture of Phoenix Corporate Center marked a significant shift in corporate development patterns away from downtown Phoenix.
The tower is easily accessible via major roads in the downtown area and provides adequate parking facilities. The renovations created a modern interior with straightforward navigation through the elevator system.
The original design featured seven columns forming connected arches with a glass elevator positioned on the western side. These architectural elements continue to define the building's character today.
