Phoenix Financial Center, Modern office complex in Midtown Phoenix, United States.

Phoenix Financial Center is a modern office complex in Midtown Phoenix with a 19-story tower flanked by two circular rotunda buildings. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows line the Central Avenue side, and the tops of each dome feature stained glass stars that catch the light throughout the day.

The complex was built in 1963 by Financial Corporation of Arizona, starting as a 10-story structure that expanded to 19 stories in 1972. This growth reflects the company's success and the area's development during that era.

The southeastern side looks like old computer punch cards, which is why locals call it the 'Punchcard Building.' This nickname reflects how the design has captured people's imagination over the decades.

The rotunda buildings each contain two floors plus a basement level, giving you plenty of space to explore the design details. Weekday visits offer the best views with fewer crowds getting in your way.

A time capsule from the 1960s sits hidden somewhere within the complex, put there to be opened during Arizona's centennial celebration but never found. This forgotten piece of history remains sealed away, waiting for discovery.
