Chase Tower, 40-story office skyscraper in downtown Phoenix, United States
The Chase Tower features a three-leaf clover footprint design with a narrow elevator core on the southern concrete-textured facade at 201 North Central Avenue.
Completed in 1972 by architect Welton Becket, the building marked the start of renewed investment in downtown Phoenix until the savings and loan crisis of 1989.
Standing at 483 feet tall, the Chase Tower represents the vertical expansion of Phoenix's urban development during the 1970s construction boom in Midtown.
The building contains 724,000 square feet of office space across its 40 floors, with JP Morgan Chase occupying 27 floors for their banking operations.
Chase Tower maintains its position as the tallest structure between San Diego, California, and San Antonio, Texas, dominating the Arizona skyline at 147.22 meters.
