Arizona Federal Theatre, Concert theatre in Downtown Phoenix, US
Arizona Federal Theatre is a concert and event venue in Downtown Phoenix, United States, specializing in live music and entertainment programs. The auditorium spans multiple levels with a total of 5,000 seats, and every section provides a clear view of the stage.
The theatre opened its doors in 2006 and initially bore the name of an automobile manufacturer. After a first renaming in the early 2010s, it acquired its current name through a partnership with Arizona Federal Credit Union.
The building features a curved glass facade that glows from within at night and shapes the streetscape of the downtown area. On concert evenings especially, visitors from across the southwestern United States gather on the wide plaza and make use of the surrounding restaurants and bars.
Visitors need a digital device for entry, as only mobile tickets are accepted. Bags may measure no more than 12 by 6 by 12 inches (30 by 15 by 30 centimeters), and larger items are not allowed inside the building.
All transactions are handled digitally, as no cash payments are possible anywhere in the venue. Whether at concession stands serving drinks and snacks or at merchandise counters, payment is accepted only by card or mobile methods.
