Norman Broaster Stadium

Norman Broaster Stadium is a football stadium in San Ignacio that accommodates around 2,000 spectators within its open-air concrete structure with a natural grass playing surface. The facility is situated in the Cayo district and is primarily used for championship matches and regional competitions.

The stadium was constructed and opened in 1950, initially serving as home to various local football clubs including WD Eleven and Mighty Avengers. Over the following decades, the venue became a central hub for professional football development in the region.

The venue serves as home ground for Verdes FC and hosts regional football matches along with local community sporting events. It functions as a gathering place where residents come together to support their teams and celebrate local sports traditions.

The venue is easily accessible and offers adequate space for spectators of all kinds, with basic facilities for players and visitors. The renovation of the changing rooms by the Football Federation was completed in 2021, making visits more convenient.
