Toreo de Cuatro Caminos

Toreo de Cuatro Caminos was a multipurpose venue located at the border between Mexico City and Naucalpan, positioned at the intersection of four major roads. The facility featured a circular structure topped with a steel dome reaching approximately 60 meters in height, with seating capacity for 25,000 spectators.

The roots of the site trace back to 1894, when a wooden bullring was first built there, which was later replaced in 1947 by the modern facility. This reconstruction was part of the modernization and expansion of recreational infrastructure in the growing region around Mexico City.

The arena hosted bullfights, boxing matches, and wrestling events, reflecting a period when such entertainments played an important role in Mexico's leisure culture. The venue drew people from across the region and served as a gathering place for different social groups.

The site was located at a busy intersection and remained easily accessible from various directions, making it a familiar reference point in the area. Its position at the edge of the city allowed flexible access options for visitors arriving from different parts of the region.

After demolition in 2008, the entire site was transformed into a modern shopping center, completely replacing the arena's legacy. Today, only the area's name preserves any memory of this former entertainment venue.
