Road Runner Express, Steel roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, US
Road Runner Express is a steel roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas that spans a track system and features various lift sections and turns. The ride operates two separate trains with seating for 18 passengers each and adapts to the natural terrain of the park.
The coaster was designed in 1997 by manufacturer Arrow Dynamics under engineer Alan Schilke's direction. The project was part of the park's development into a multi-ride entertainment venue.
The name comes from the Looney Tunes cartoons, and the Crackaxle Canyon themed area displays these references throughout. Signage and queue design convey the spirit of this classic cartoon character.
Riders must be at least 42 inches tall and are secured with lapbar restraints before the ride begins. It is best to secure loose items and follow all staff instructions throughout the experience.
The track cleverly uses the existing topography of the park grounds, allowing the rails to fit naturally into the landscape. This construction method created a distinctive ride path that gave the park its characteristic layout.
