Trammell Crow Center, Office skyscraper in Downtown Dallas Arts District, US
The Trammell Crow Center is an office skyscraper in Dallas's Arts District that rises 708 feet above Ross Avenue with a polished granite facade and reflective glass. The structure spans 50 floors and contains roughly 1.2 million square feet of rentable office space.
The building was completed in 1985 as the headquarters for Ling-Temco-Vought, a major corporation that had outgrown its previous facilities. The project marked a significant investment in developing the Arts District during the 1980s.
The base of the building houses the Crow Collection of Asian Art, featuring sculptures, paintings, and artifacts from across Asia that are accessible to the public. These works reflect the founder's personal passion for collecting and preserving art from that region.
The complex operates with 30 elevators and serves various financial institutions and law firms in its office spaces. The ground level offers public access to the art collection and retail areas, making it easy to explore without needing to enter upper floors.
A 2017 renovation added 20,000 square feet of retail space, a conference center, and fitness facilities within the first two levels. These additions transformed the building into a more complete community space beyond just offices.
