World Golf Village, Golf resort in St. Johns County, United States
World Golf Village is a golf resort in St. Johns County spanning roughly 6,300 acres between Jacksonville and St. Augustine with two championship courses. The property includes a golf academy, hotels, restaurants, an IMAX theater, and a convention center.
The PGA Tour developed this planned community in the 1990s and opened the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1998 as its centerpiece. The development brought golf history and modern resort living together in one location.
The Walk of Champions displays memorial stones for Hall of Fame members along a brick path around Kelly Lake. Visitors can read the names of golf legends and explore how the site honors those who shaped the sport.
The property is easily accessible with various lodging and dining options on-site. Visitors should plan enough time to explore both the golf courses and other attractions like the theater and Hall of Fame museum.
The King & Bear course is the only golf course design collaboration between Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. This rare partnership makes the course special for golfers who admire both legends.
