The World of Sid and Marty Krofft, Indoor amusement park in downtown Atlanta, United States.
The World of Sid and Marty Krofft was an indoor amusement complex with six levels, featuring themed zones with a crystal carousel, live circus acts, and interactive attractions. Each floor offered a different environment for guests to explore and enjoy.
The park was inspired by television producers Sid and Marty Krofft and opened in 1976 inside the Omni International building. It operated briefly before closing after just six months, ending as a short-lived venture.
The space brought 1970s television worlds to life through live performances, puppet shows, and characters that viewers knew from their home screens. The attraction let guests step directly into the imaginative worlds created by the Krofft brothers.
Visitors moved through a massive escalator system to travel between the six levels and reach different sections. Various attractions required separate tickets purchased from an activity booklet provided at entry.
The facility featured a human-sized pinball machine where guests rode in spherical pods through illuminated tracks and mechanical obstacles. This unusual ride was technically inventive and did not exist in other parks of that era.
