The Kazoo Museum, Musical instrument museum in Beaufort, US.

The Kazoo Museum exhibits a collection of 200 kazoos, including antique pieces, character-shaped instruments, and manufacturing equipment in a 6,500-square-foot facility.

The museum started in Seattle during 2007, then moved to Portland before finding its permanent location in Beaufort, South Carolina, in October 2010.

This institution preserves the heritage of kazoos, an American musical instrument adaptation originating from African ceremonial instruments used in traditional practices.

The facility opens Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering guided factory tours at specific times with admission fees of $14.50 for adults.

Visitors can manufacture their personal kazoo during guided tours while observing the production process that creates one million instruments annually for global distribution.
