The Downtown Woodland Historic District spans 370 acres and contains 59 contributing buildings along Main Street from Elm Street to Third Street.
The district earned its place on the National Register of Historic Places in June 1999, preserving structures from the late 19th century agricultural period.
The district features Mission, Spanish Revival, and Classical Revival architecture, with notable buildings designed by architect William H. Weeks.
Visitors can access free two-hour street parking throughout the district and obtain detailed maps from the local information center.
The Hotel Woodland, Porter Building, Woodland Opera House, and Woodland Public Library form an exceptional collection of preserved commercial structures.
