Bok Kai Temple stands at the corner of D and First Streets in Marysville, a Chinese temple built in 1880 and still in use. Its name means North Creek Temple, and it is dedicated to Beidi, the North Deity, also called Xuan Wu. The building is a California Historical Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The temple was built in 1880, replacing an earlier structure from the 1860s. It served as the center of Marysville's Chinese community during California's Gold Rush period.
