The Odd Fellows Building, constructed in 1878, stands as the oldest surviving commercial structure on Broadway Street, marking the beginning of Live Oak's business district.
The Independent Order of Odd Fellows utilized the second floor of their building for community gatherings, lectures, and social events that connected local residents.
The district spans 8.8 acres between Pennington Road and Elm Street, containing twelve buildings and a row of palm trees that create the streetscape.
Following rehabilitation in 2000, the Odd Fellows building transformed into a dual-purpose structure, providing both senior housing and commercial spaces.
