Wild West Express Coaster, Steel roller coaster at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, United States.
The Wild West Express Coaster is a steel roller coaster at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park featuring an oval track layout approximately 197 feet long. It reaches speeds of 16 miles per hour, offering a gentle ride experience suitable for families and younger visitors.
The coaster was originally built as the Endicott Emerald Mine at Wild Zone Adventures in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. It was relocated to Colorado in 2012 and renamed as it appears today.
The steel coaster incorporates design elements from the American frontier period, connecting riders to the regional heritage of the American West.
Children must be at least 48 inches tall to ride alone or 36 inches when accompanied by an adult supervisor aged 16 or older. The ride is located within an underground caverns adventure park, so visitors should be prepared for varying light conditions and cave surroundings.
The ride operates at an elevation of approximately 7,100 feet (2,160 meters) above sea level, making it one of the highest-elevation amusement rides of its kind in North America. This extreme altitude creates a notably different riding experience compared to rides at lower elevations.
