Blood 148 is a First Nations territory in southern Alberta that extends across a wide area between Fort MacLeod, Lethbridge, and Cardston, bordered by the St Mary and Belly Rivers. The land is crossed by three major highways that link it to surrounding communities.
The territory was originally assigned under Treaty 7, and in 2019 a federal court expanded its boundaries based on treaty provisions. This ruling recognized long-standing claims of the Kainai Nation and significantly increased their land.
