Blue Beret Camp

Blue Beret Camp is the headquarters for the United Nations Peacekeeping Force, situated on the grounds of the former Nicosia International Airport. The site contains accommodation blocks, medical facilities, and recreational areas that serve international military personnel.

The camp was established in 1964 when tensions between Greek and Turkish communities in Cyprus intensified. It became the central command point for international peacekeeping operations in the region.
