Unique Acropolis, Skyscraper in Gulshan Thana, Bangladesh
The Unique Acropolis is a skyscraper in Gulshan with 36 floors that serves multiple purposes within its structure. It houses residential apartments, office space, a hotel, and retail areas across its levels.
The project began in 2014 under the direction of Borak Real Estate with original completion plans for 2023. It represents part of the modern construction boom that has reshaped Dhaka's cityscape since the 2010s.
The building brings together residential units, office spaces, and hotel facilities in one place, showing how urban living has evolved in Dhaka. This mix of different uses reflects what modern city life looks like today.
The building has seven basement levels offering parking for over 800 vehicles for both residents and visitors. The extensive parking infrastructure makes it straightforward to reach the complex by car for different types of users.
The complex unusually blends three different user groups within one building: permanent residents, office workers, and hotel guests all share the same elevators and common areas. This mixed-use model was relatively new to Dhaka when the project was designed.
