Dhanbari Mosque, Historical mosque in Dhanbari Upazila, Bangladesh
The Dhanbari Mosque stands on the side of Dhanbari Nawab Manzil with three domes and a minaret covering 10 kathas of land.
Dating from Emperor Jahangir's reign, the mosque was constructed after Mughal generals Ispinjar Khan and Manawar Khan established their zamindari at Dhanbari.
The mosque includes three mihrabs on the qibla wall, with the central mihrab featuring octagonal design and floral patterns characteristic of Islamic art.
The renovated structure currently accommodates 200 people for prayer sessions and contains multiple entrances on the eastern, northern, and southern walls.
Next to the mosque lies a walled-up old graveyard extending across half a bigha of land, preserving historical connections to the area.
