Tangail Polytechnic Institute

Tangail Polytechnic Institute is a technical college along the Tangail-Mymensingh road offering education in multiple engineering disciplines. The campus features specialized laboratories for hands-on learning and separate residential facilities for male and female students.

The school was founded in 1991 starting with just 40 students studying Electrical Technology. It has since expanded to offer seven different technical training programs.

The institute works closely with local manufacturing businesses, giving students hands-on experience with real production work. These partnerships help graduates transition directly into technical jobs in the region.

The campus is located about 600 meters north of Tangail's central bus terminal making it fairly easy to reach. Visitors should be aware that separate access times and areas exist for male and female visitors.

The institute operates specialized laboratories for seven engineering fields including Civil, Electrical, Computer, and Telecommunications engineering. This range of facilities allows students to develop practical skills across different technical specialties simultaneously.
